If I even suggested this bonding idea with my friends the end result would simply be “less friends“. They’d cancel my ass, 100%. I’d be left with no friends and a boring job to tell no one about.

Here’s the deal folks. Unless someone has a legit cool ass job, nobody really cares what each other does. Maybe in your early 20s when you think your 9-5 cubical job is important you might flex it a bit, but not when you’re creeping into the mid 30s. Chances are the last thing you want to do is even talk about your job, let alone break out a S.W.O.T. analysis for your friends regarding how you keep track of your department’s operating budget or how you sold in some product that is still in Beta to a cutthroat agency of your choice.

Dead ass, if the appendix of all these people’s presentations doesn’t read “miserable” then I call bullshit on every slide. There’s no way possible this was a real thing. This had to be for the video and the video alone.

Also, where are the children? Do none of these people have kids? They’re just workaholics? Not one child? Just “hey babe let’s go over to Bradley’s house, you take slides 3 and 4 and I’ll hammer home the rest.”

What ever happened to just going out and getting hammered and regretting everything like I did a couple weeks ago?

… seriously though, is this covid? It’s gotta be a prelude to covid 2.0.
